catalyst DABCO MB20/metal catalyst DABCO MB20
Overview:
Product name: Organic bismuth catalyst DABCO MB20
Alias: DABCO MB20, Bismuth Metal Carboxylate Catalyst, Organic Bismuth Catalyst DABCO MB20, Catalyst DABCO MB20, Metal Catalyst DABCO MB20
Product Description: Organic Bismuth Catalyst DABCO MB20 for Polyurethane Flexible Foam, Rigid Foam and CASE applications.
The DABCO MB20 catalyst is a carboxylate based on organobismuth. As a co-catalyst, DABCO MB20 catalyst can be used in conjunction with polyurethane tertiary amine catalysts to accelerate urethane (polyol-isocyanate) reactions and curing.DABCO MB20 catalyst is an alternative to organotin catalysts for flexible slabstock sponges, high-density flexible foams, sprayed rigid foams, microcellular elastomers and rigid foam systems.

Recommendations for use.
DABCO MB20 catalyst can be used in the manufacture of rigid foams, microcellular elastomers and high density flexible polyurethane foams as an alternative to traditional metal catalysts based on Dibutyltin, lead or mercury.DABCO MB20 catalyst improves on the problem of long cure times associated with amine-only catalysts, and in synergistic combinations with other polyurethane amine catalysts, additional activity is gained, resulting in fast curing with excellent foam performance, and does not contain dibutyltin.
Other industries where DABCO MB20 catalyst can be used include high-density structural rigid foams, rigid sprayed rigid foams, rigid foam sandwich panels, sandwich boards, reaction injection molding (RIM) and integral skin foams.
Shelf Life.
Keep unopened for two years
Storage and Transportation:
Should be kept sealed and stored in a dry, cool and ventilated warehouse
Packaging:
200KG/drum Storage: it is recommended to store in dry and cool area with proper ventilation. Please fasten the packaging cover as soon as possible after the original packaging to prevent the mixing of other substances such as moisture and other substances that may affect the product performance. Store in a cool and dry place, keep the container sealed and avoid contact with oxides. Do not inhale dust and avoid contact with skin and mucous membranes. Smoking, eating and drinking are prohibited in the workplace. After work, shower and change clothes. Store contaminated clothing separately and wash before use. Maintain good hygiene practices. The company recommends that all polyurethane catalysts be stored in a dry, cool and properly ventilated area. All storage containers must be well sealed to avoid contact with water or other affected substances, which may alter the performance of the product in use. The storage temperature is 10°C to 30°C. Lower or higher temperatures are inappropriate and should be avoided if possible.
